Terms & Conditions 1. A £50 deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance to be paid no later than 2 weeks before arrival. In the event of a cancellation less than 30 days before arrival, the deposit is non-refundable. 2. Pets are allowed at Camasunarie on the understanding that any damages will be paid for by the pets owner.
4. Towels and bed linen are not included. Sleeping bags are recommended. 5. The owners reserve the right to alter the interior specifications as necessary. 6. Please note that mobile phone coverage is very limited in Strathaird, some reception may be available at altitude. There is no telephone with 2hrs walk. 7. Please leave the house and surroundings as you would wish to find them. We do not have a regular cleaner due to location. 8. The cottage must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure. Arrival time should be after 2.00pm. 9. Camasunarie has a log-burning stove. Please use this with caution and make sure it is fully out before you leave. Please remove the ashes carefully before you leave. 10. Dissatisfaction: If there is anything you are dissatisfied with please don't suffer in silence. Let us know as quickly as possible so that we can do something about it. 11. Camasunarie is an old house and is let on the understanding that tenants will treat it carefully. 12. There are boats, kayaks, motors and fishing equipment at Camasunarie. You may use them at your own risk, remember, rescue is a long way away. Please note also that use is dependant on a 'you bend it , you mend it' policy. 13. Access to Camasunarie is via a very rough & steep track. An EXPERIENCED and COMPETENT off road driver with a SUITABLE off road vehicle is welcome to drive to Camasunarie at THEIR OWN RISK. The route is potentially damaging to longer vehicles with lower ground clearance. Only vehicles of Land Rover Defender type are suitable. If you break down, recovery facilities are VERY limited. Please also respect the fragile upland environment. Walking in is a better option. Drew is available to help with transporting luggage (at extra cost). 14. Access to Camasunarie is via a very rough & steep track. Only persons capable of walking for 2 hours carrying their supplies should attempt it. Camasunarie is unsuitable for less able people. 15. The decor and furnishings at Camasunarie are not to a modern standard. Please be aware of this at the time of booking. Refunds cannot be given once you have arrived and decided that Camasunarie is not for you. 16. Please ensure all rubbish is removed from the house on leaving. The is a bonfire site for burnables but all other materials must be carried out. |
